Annual Tree Lighting

Day-of, prior to event – 10am-12pm:

• Stop into Love of Flour and decorate a gingerbread house! Registration required, do so here!

Event activities: 

• Ice skating – the opening day of our skating rink!
• Countdown to illumination
• DJ performing your favorite holiday tunes
• A snow show
• Face painting
• Balloon art
• Santa photos & giveaways
• Warm beverages & holiday treats!
• Donate books to the Children’s Museum of Richmond’s Book Bank! Also, enjoy hands on activities like Duplo Blocks, tangrams, connecting puzzles, and more!
• RVA mini express train rides – the train will pick up & drop off by Brooks Brothers and The Train Depot! (Take a look around the space dedicated to promoting model railroading)!
• A Holiday Makers Market by RVA Black Farmers Market
• Stop by James River at Stony Point’s table to learn more about their spacious layouts and modern amenities!
• Chat with Pet Paradise
